Julie gets her inspiration from the beauty and simplicity that surrounds her in everyday life. She is fascinated by the idea that she can take an ordinary photograph -- capturing a fleeting moment in time -- and transform it into a lasting work of art.
Each of Julie's paintings involves long hours of creativity and focus, reflecting her unique perspective and her endless dedication to "getting it right." The result is a colorful, upbeat, high quality digital painting with a stylistic flair all of it's own.
Julie has presented her artwork at many juried art shows and events, including the well-known Allentown Art Festival, in Buffalo, New York, and the Annual Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit in Greenwich Village, NYC. She recieved Honorable Mention awards at the 2004 and 2005 Peddler's Village Fine Arts and Contemporary Crafts Shows. Her work is currently on display at the Arts Council of Princeton, New Jersey, and at the ArtisZen Arts Gallery in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
